Gerdie

To say that animal chiropractic and Dr. Medalen have changed my rescue dog Gerdie’s life is an understatement. Thanks to Dr. Medalen and her patience & willingness to be flexible with Gerdie’s needs and anxiousness my 11 year old pup’s quality of life has improved immensely. Gerdie has struggled with hip pain since her adoption at age age 3 which has often stopped her from her daily fun. Since starting with services from Cloudberry Lane, her ability to run, play and even lay down without discomfort has been wonderfully noticeable. Seeing my Gerdie be free from pain has been more than worth each and every appointment, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Medalen to anyone who wants to see their fur babies living their best lives.

Tucker

I am so thankful that my dog Tucker was able to receive care from Dr. Clara! I was told by Tucker’s Vet that there was nothing we could do to improve Tucker’s quality of life. Tucker was in a lot of pain with lots of restricted movement. He wasn't able to jump up onto furniture or beds. Right away Dr. Clara was able to locate Tucker’s pain points, and was able to adjust Tucker so he has a lot more movement and a lot less pain!! Soo Thankful!!

mag

Mag was born with a neurological disorder that causes her to walk sideways, in circles. All things considered, she did pretty well for herself for about 5 years before she walked sideways into a large body of water and got dual ear infections. It was a year before we realized that's what she had, and by then her balance had really taken a turn and she would fall a lot more often. It was just painful to watch her sometimes. We stopped walking boardwalk trails, because she would just fall right over the edge.

After her first appointment with Dr. Clara, she told me that Mag would probably be really tired afterwards. In fact, it was the opposite! She was a lot more agile and mobile (though she did sleep very well that night). After treating her ear infections, it was clear that the year of falling over, on top of her own 'normal' walking patterns had left her with a lot of lingering pain. As we continued to treat her, first twice a week, then once a week, I noticed that she got a lot more energy, she was a lot happier and approached a lot more people while we were in public.

Now, two months later Mag is just about back to how she was before she took her huge decline. She's able to catch herself a lot more now and has more control over herself. Boardwalking trails are back into her walkies roster.

rebel

When our dog Rebel suffered a FCE (spinal stroke) this last august we were unsure if she’d be able to walk let alone run or live a normal life. After lots of researching FCE’s, I knew that there wasn’t anything our local vet could do and that’s when we contacted Dr. Clara for help. Rebel was completely relaxed when Dr. Clara would work on her. She loved the attention and I could see that it was really helping. Each time she got adjusted she had a new pep in her step. With Dr. Clara’s full body adjustments, taping, and regular PT and play for Rebel, she was able to make leaps and bounds in her recovery. This is something that took weeks when in many cases, could’ve taken months. Rebel went from totally paralyzed in her rear end to running with her pack again in only a few weeks. I think Rebel will continue to make a full recovery thanks to Dr. Clara.

Snuffy, Moon and Cedar

I have three "older" animals that Dr. Clara has worked on: 2 horses and 1 dog. All three have seen some miles and have developed a variety of issues over time. Physical improvements after just one adjustment with each critter included more relaxed and balanced gaits and more relaxed demeanors. Dr. Clara has a healing presence and I am impressed with the way she interacts with and adjusts my pets. I am so grateful for this service and will absolutely continue it. Body work is so important and so worth it, for animals and people!

butters

Butters, my 3 year old cat came from a shelter stressed, scared, and with bad trust issues. Dr. Clara was very kind and patient with him as she gained his trust. When Butters began getting his adjustments I noticed his mood and appetite improved, he seemed less stressed and became more active! Thanks to Dr. Clara’s expertise in animal chiropractic my Butters is healthy, happy, and very active. He is always ready for cuddles and fetch with his favorite toys!
